01Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains how Capnix First Private Limited ("Capnix", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on the Capnix website. It is an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and should be read alongside our Privacy Policy. Analytics, preference and advertising cookies are on when you arrive on the site. We do not show you a cookie banner. Section 06 explains how to stop them.

02What are cookies

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device so it can work properly, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used. Similar technologies include local storage and pixels. Cookies may be "session" cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser, or "persistent" cookies, which stay until they expire or you remove them.

03How we use cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in and the site working, to remember your choices, to understand how the site is used so we can improve it, and to measure which of our advertisements on Google and Meta bring people to us. We do not sell cookie data, and we do not use cookies to profile you on other websites.

04Types of cookies we use

• Strictly necessary, keep you signed in and the site secure and working. On by default; the site cannot function without them. This includes the Google reCAPTCHA cookie (_GRECAPTCHA) set when you use the contact form or website chat, which helps tell a person from a script; how Google handles it is described in our Privacy Policy. It also includes our own cx-chat-visitor cookie, a random identifier the website chat sets when you send it a message, so it can keep your conversation for up to 180 days. It holds no name or contact detail.
• Preferences, remember choices you make on the site.
• Analytics, help us understand how the site is used. On this website we use Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager (Google), and Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft), which also records session replays of clicks and scrolling so we can see where pages confuse people. Inside the customer, partner, Lender Partner and lender portals we use PostHog (PostHog Inc.), which records which screens you use and records session replays of clicks, scrolling, page content and what you type, so we can see where the portal slows you down. These are on when you arrive, and their data is processed outside India.
• Advertising measurement, tell us which of our advertisements brought you here and whether you then sent us an enquiry, so we can stop paying for advertisements that do not work. On this website and in the customer portal we use Google Ads (Google), which sets the _gcl_au cookie and the IDE cookie on Google's doubleclick.net domain, and the Meta pixel (Meta Platforms), which sets the _fbp and _fbc cookies. Google and Meta may also use this data to measure and improve advertising across their own services, under their own privacy policies linked in our Privacy Policy. These are on when you arrive, and their data is processed outside India.

05Cookies we do not use

We do not sell cookie data. We do not use cookies to build a profile of you from your activity on other websites, and no cookie on this site is used for anything other than the four purposes listed above.

06Managing your cookies

To stop analytics or advertising cookies, block or delete cookies for this site in your browser settings, or write to dpo@capnix.ai and we will action it for you. Either way it does not affect your loan requirement or how your file is handled. Your browser's instructions are here:

07Third-party services

Some cookies are set by the providers we use to run and promote the site: our analytics, our content-delivery and security providers, and our advertising partners Google and Meta. Our analytics and infrastructure providers are engaged under a written data-processing arrangement; Google Ads and Meta act under their own published terms. How they handle data is described in our Privacy Policy.

08Changes

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time and will give 15 days' notice before any material change.
